Press release: Investment highlights by CDC in October 2025

On 7 November 2025, the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) announced that it registered 29 investment projects in October 2025. These projects represent a total capital of approximately $1.4 billion USD and are expected to create an estimated 25,000 jobs. The vast majority of this capital, $1.2 billion USD, was approved for the largest single project: the construction and operation of the Funan Techo Canal. Investment capital for the month was primarily sourced from China (49.24%) and Cambodia (47.68%).

Overall, the CDC has registered a total of $9.2 billion USD in investment across 575 projects for the first ten months of 2025, which represents a substantial growth of approximately 67% in capital compared to the same period in 2024.
